About

Independent.
Ranked, not sold.

FireOTT.in is an independent guide to what's worth streaming in India. We track new movie and series releases across 20+ OTT platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, Aha, Sun NXT, MX Player and more) in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, English and other languages.

How our rankings work

Every title on the board has a FireScore from 0 to 100. Hand-curated rows average the IMDb rating, scaled to 100, with the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer. Titles added by the refresh use the 0–100 rating from the Streaming Availability API. Reader votes nudge the board order and are capped; they are not stored in the catalog and cannot invent a score. The list refreshes on Tuesday and Friday mornings IST.

Independence and advertising

FireOTT is not affiliated with any streaming platform. Rankings are never sold. The site is supported by advertising (Google AdSense) and may use affiliate links, which earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored placements, when present, are always labeled.

Data sources

New and upcoming releases come from the Streaming Availability API, for the Indian services that API covers. The date on a title is the day it arrived on that service. Posters load from the provider's image URLs and are not copied onto this site. Hand-curated rows keep the IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores they were published with. Services the API does not cover are added by hand.

Streaming availability metadata and images are provided by Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night. About the API.
